Prior to co-founding Duality, Kristy worked on the “client side” as the Director of Communications & Public Affairs for a regional grocery operator with more than 100 locations in three states, where she managed several high-profile issues and crisis situations, from union campaigns, lawsuits, and the company’s Chapter 11 filing, to credit card breaches and leadership transitions. She also led the launch, and ongoing operation of, the grocer’s social media platforms.
Before that, Kristy was a Vice President at a public relations agency in Phoenix where she helped to launch the successful grand openings of DMB’s Verrado community, Yuma Palms Regional Center, The Shops at Gainey Village, and Chandler Fashion Center. Prior to that, she worked at Edelman in Chicago on national campaigns for Kraft Foods across the country.
More recently, Kristy has led awareness campaigns for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation, Giordano’s Pizza, Tempe Mission Palms Hotel, Education Forward, and Wonderspaces.
With a strong Midwestern work ethic, Kristy’s inventiveness, strategic counsel, and vigorous work has achieved measurable results for her clients. Who else can get their client flown to the Big Apple for a live interview on Good Morning America with one of the sharks from ABC’s Shark Tank?
Kristy’s work earned her a Silver Anvil, and more than 30 national and regional awards of excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), International Council of Shopping Centers and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

As a former reporter, Brian has excellent research skills and knows how to absorb information quickly. He’s also a whiz when it comes to analyzing numbers and sifting through data. This makes him an excellent fit for assembling Duality’s earned media placements for ongoing client measurement reports.
Brian’s customer service abilities and strong desire to help people made him a go-to person for more than 20 years at top companies like The Hartford and Trader Joe’s.
Arguably though, one of Brian’s biggest talents is his sense of humor, which comes in handy when he’s crunching numbers and reviewing spreadsheets.
