WHAT WE DID

Client: Box Play for Kids

Assignment: Help a graphic designer mom promote her cool, kid-friendly stickers to a worldwide audience.

Approach: Position the founder as a “mompreneur” who knows, first-hand, what kids want to play with – paper towel rolls and stickers. Share her “aha” moment to form Box Play for Kids, and involve her young daughter, Chloe – the inspiration behind the concept in product photos and media interviews. Play up the eco-friendly aspect of the stickers, along with how they transform common household items, like egg cartons and macaroni and cheese boxes, into toys. Communicate the many ways the stickers can be used, from in-school activities to birthday parties. Address how cost-effective and creatively-engaging the stickers are for kids. After all, who needs more toys, TV, video games and smart phones?

Results: Secured an in-studio interview with Good Morning America, which flew the mompreneur to New York City to present her innovative concept on air to Daymond John, one of the sharks on the hit ABC TV show, Shark Tank. The more than four-minute piece about Box Play for Kids and accompanying online story reached more than 6 million people. The exposure from this national TV placement and online story alone is valued at more than $600,000, and resulted in several new partnerships and custom orders for Box Play for Kids. In a little more than a year, the company reported that 75% of its revenue came directly and indirectly from the media exposure that Duality PR secured for Box Play for Kids.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of this. You’re always thinking and coming up with great ideas. Your passion and commitment are amazing and always appreciated. You think of everything! What would I do without you?!
